Tourist Attractions: Zimbabwe is known for its scenic landscapes, magnificent national parks, and thrilling wildlife safaris. Tourist attractions in Zimbabwe include the spectacular Victoria Falls, the artificial Lake Kariba, the beautiful towns of Harare and Bulawayo, the scenic Inyanga, Vumba and Chimanimani mountain ranges, and the Great Zimbabwe National Monument, the largest complex of ruins in Africa. Zimbabwe also has some of the finest national parks in the world including the Hwange National Park, Antelope Park, Nyanga National Park, Matobo National Park and the Mana Pools National Park. Tourists can also enjoy a range of exciting activities like game viewing, boat safaris, hiking, trekking and freshwater fishing.

Access: Many airlines including Aeroflot,British Airways, Egyptair, KLM, Lufthansa and South African Airlines operate direct flights to Harare from various destinations in Europe and Africa. There are good train links from South Africa through Botswana to Bulawayo. Regular buses also run from the popular land borders at Victoria Falls/Kazungala crossing to Botswana and the Victoria Falls/Livingstone crossing to Zambia.

Climate: Zimbabwe has a tropical climate, which varies according to altitude. It has two main seasons: a hot and dry season (September to October) and a rainy season (November to March). The best time to visit Zimbabwe is from April to May and August to September.
