Tourist Attractions: Ukraine has many beautiful places to keep tourists busy during their tour. The prime tourists hot spots are the Carpathian National Natural Park that has wolves, brown bears, lynx, bison and deer in its premises. Mt Hoverla is great for hiking in summers the Black Sea port of Odessa known for its pleasant climate and museums are other attractions. The Caves Monastery, a spiritual place that includes 12th-century Trinity Gate Church, the Refectory Church of SS Anthony and Theodosius having numerous glass-topped coffins of monks and the UNESCO World Heritage site of St Sophia Cathedral, which was built in 11th century and has lovely mosaics and frescoes, are some of Ukraine’s religious attractions.
Access: Ukraine is linked by direct flights to all major European and American cities. Railway networks exist from Ukraine to Russia, Germany, France and Poland. Also a lot of ferries and cruise liners travel to and fro from Greece, Cyprus, Israel, Egypt, Turkey and other European ports.
Climate: Ukraine experiences severe winters except for the southern region that is slightly milder. Summers are comfortable and rainfall is moderate.
