Location: North Europe, bordered by Finland and Norway alongside the Baltic Sea

Tourist Attractions: Sweden has many interesting places worth visiting. Its capital Stockholm is known for its Museums and vibrant nightlife. The Sarek National Park comprising of a hundred glaciers and numerous peaks that can only be tackled by experienced hikers and the Tyresta National Park, famous for its virgin forest including the 300-year-old pine trees and abundant bird life are popular attractions. For tourists, a boat ride along the Göta Canal is a must as is attending a concert at the open-air theatre and concert venue of Dalhalla. Other major tourist haunts include the Bronze Age rock carvings of Vitlycke depicting daily life, animal hunts and ships.

Access: Trains run from Denmark, Norway and Finland to Sweden. It also has a number of international airports that receive flights from Asia, Europe and North America. Sweden is connected by ferry services to Denmark, Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Germany, Poland, U.K and Finland.

Climate: The climate in Sweden is varied. The southern region can be quite cold and cloudy in winters with cool summers while in the north the winter temperature can dip to sub artic levels.
