Location: Southern Africa, a landlocked country, encircled by South Africa and Mozambique.

Tourist Attractions: Swaziland a kingdom, is known for its lush valleys, well-preserved national parks and game reserves. Tourist attractions in Swaziland include the picturesque cities of Lobamba, Mbabane and Manzini; the Ezulwini Valley, famous for its scenic beauty and thermal springs; Mantenga Falls, and Piggs Peak. Swaziland also has many national parks and game reserves, such as Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, Hlane Royal National Park, Mlawula Nature Reserve, Malolotja Nature Reserve and Mkhaya Game Reserve, which have an amazing variety of wildlife including zebras, antelopes and endangered and rare black rhinos. Visitors can also enjoy an exciting range of activities such as game viewing, mountain climbing and whitewater rafting.

Access: There are no direct flights to Swaziland from Europe North America and Asia. Swazi Airlinkoperates regular flights between Manzini and Johannesburg (South Africa), but driving down to Johannesburg (4 hours) and catching international flights from there is a better option. Tourist buses also operate to Johannesburg, Durban and Maputo in South Africa from Mbabane and Manzini.

Climate: Swaziland enjoys a tropical to temperate climate, depending on altitude. The mountainous region enjoys a cool and humid temperate climate with occasional rainfall. It generally has two seasons:  a hot and humid rainy season (October and May) and a cool and dry winter season (June to September).
