Ferry services connect Suriname to neighboring Guyana and French Guiana. Tourists can also cross borders from French Guiana and Guyana.
Climate: Suriname enjoys a humid tropical climate, tempered by the northeast trade winds. It has two seasons: a dry season from February to April and again from August to October, and a rainy season from November to January and again from May to July.
