Tourist Attractions: South Korea has many unique places, which makes a trip to the country very interesting. The city of Seoul and the temple of Seongnamsa, with its interlocking stone path multistoreyed pagoda and bamboo trees and a mountainous backdrop are some of the most popular tourist attractions in South Korea. The 48-columned Gyeonghoeru pavilion and the Korean Folk Village, replete with artisans' workshops, a brewery, a Confucian school, a Buddhist temple, market place, regular dance performances and parades make for an interesting outing. The mountains of South Korea such as the Songnisan, great for hiking and nature trails and the Manghyangbong peak are also popular with tourists in South Korea.
Access: The Incheon International Airport receives international flights. Excellent ferry services link South Korea to China, Japan and Russia. It is not possible to access S. Korea by road.
Climate: South Korea experiences very cold winters along with moderate summers that witness heavy rainfall. Generally, the climate is temperate in nature.
