Location: South Pacific Ocean, east of Papua New Guinea, with the Coral Sea and Solomon Sea to the south.

Tourist Attractions: Solomon Islands is a hit with tourists for its great scuba diving, snorkeling and fishing opportunities. The city of Auki is known for its underwater activities. The double-sided Mataniko Falls and the Lake Te'Nggano surrounded by tall cliffs and with a number of coral islets and swamps are also visited by tourists. For a dash of culture, tourists can visit the National Museum and Cultural Centre that covers the pre-discovery, Spanish exploration and World War II eras and has exhibits on dance, body ornamentation, currency, weaponry and archaeology.

Access: There are direct flights to the Solomon Islands from Australia and other neighboring South Pacific Islands. Tourists from other continents will need to come via these destinations.

Climate: Solomon Islands has tropical climate throughout the year with temperatures between 25-30°C, along with consistent rainfall.
