Tourist Attractions: The small country of San Marino, in union with Italy, has some great places to explore. The Chiesa di San Francesco, a beautiful church built in 1361, containing paintings by Niccolo Alunno of Foligno along with the tiny church of San Pietro are the most visited tourist attractions. This church, built in the 19th century has a crypt to conserve the urn in which the bones of the Saint are stored. The 11th century La Rocca with its beautiful bell tower, and Museo di Auto d'Epoca, which lists cars and motorcycles from 1890 through to 1970, and has exhibits including a 1910 Zedel belonging to Margherita of Savoia, a 1916 Ford T and Pope John XXIII's vehicle make for some great sightseeing. Tourists also throng Sam Marino’s Palazzo Publico for its beautiful architecture and decoration.
Access: Sam Marino doesn’t have any airports or railway stations. The nearest ones are in Rimni, Italy. As there are no border control issues, one can easily drive in or take a bus from Italy to reach San Marino.
Climate: San Marino has hot, sunny summers along with cool winters, which can also get rainy. The climate is Mediterranean in nature.
