Tourist Attractions: Morocco is a beautiful nation, famous for its scenic landscapes, colonial architecture, World Heritage sites, and fascinating cultural heritage. Tourist attractions in Morocco include the cities of Fès (famous for its medieval buildings), Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat (famous for its colonial structures), Tangier, and Meknes (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), its lovely beaches and the snow-capped Atlas Mountains. Other attractions are a number of World Heritage Sites like Aït Benhaddou, Djemaa el-Fna (Place of the Dead), Volubilis (famous for its well-preserved Roman ruins), and Caves of Hercules at Cape Spartel. The Drâa Valley (famous for its red-earthen kasbahs) and Hassan II Mosque (the third largest religious monument in the world) are also worth visiting. Visitors can also enjoy activities like pony riding, swimming, boating, hiking, trekking, diving, and deep-sea fishing.

Access: Morocco has five international airports including Casablanca, Tangier and Rabat. There are frequent direct flights from all major European cities, North America, the Middle East and many countries in Africa. Regular ferry services also link Tangier with southern Spain and Sète on the French coast.

Climate: Morocco enjoys a Mediterranean climate with regional variations. The summer is extremely hot in the south. The coastal regions receive rainfall from November to March.
