The ancient Buddhist stupa at Borubudur and Prambana, the largest Hindu temples outside India are frequently visited by tourists. The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary housing three temples as well as monkeys features high on tourist itineraries. The three colored lakes of Kelimutu set in deep craters near the summit of the Kelimutu volcano are also worth visiting.
