Tourist Attractions:  Guinea is a beautiful nation on the North Atlantic coast of West Africa. The country is known for its scenic landscape, which varies from lush mountains in the Guinea Highlands to mangrove swamps, and from tropical rainforests to the savannah grasslands of the Sahel region. Tourist attractions in Guinea include the capital city of Conakry (located on the scenic island of Tumbo), Fouta Djalon Highlands (known for its lush green hills and typical Fula tribal population), Cape Verga Beaches, Les Chutes de Kinkon (Waterfall), Mt Nimba, and Kakimbon Caves. Visitors can also enjoy activities like nature trekking, swimming and hiking.

Access:Air France operates regular flights from London to Conakry, via Paris. Many other airlinesalso have direct flights from various destinations in Europe, USA and many countries in Africa. Fast hydrofoil services along the coast also connect Conakry to Freetown (Sierra Leone). Regular ferry services to Mali are also available. Tourist can also cross borders from Danané (Côte d’Ivoire), Bamako (Mali), Tambacounda (Senegal) and Freetown (Sierra Leone).

Climate: Guinea enjoys a hot and humid climate. Guinea has two seasons – a rainy season from May to October and a dry season from November to April.
