The famous TGV trains connect France to cities in Belgium, Netherlands and Germany. If you want to reach France by road, it’s very easy as the borders are porous. France has connecting international highways with Belgium, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Luxemburg and U.K. The Eurolines provide bus services that connect France to the whole of the European continent.
Climate: The climate is usually temperate though it varies in different regions. Cool winters and mild summers are experienced over most of France, with the exception of the Mediterranean coast, which has mild winters and hot summers. A strong, cold, dry, north-northwesterly wind known as Mistral blows across parts of France in winter.
