Regular flights to Addis Ababa are available from London, Frankfurt, and Cairo. There is a rail service between Djibouti and Addis Ababa. Tourists can also cross the land borders from Moyale (Kenya), Dewale / Galafi (Djibouti) and Humera / Metema (Sudan).

Climate: Ethiopia enjoys a tropical monsoon climate, which greatly varies with its topography. While the lowlands are hot and humid, uplands are cool and dry. The rainy season lasts from June to September.
