Tourist Attractions: Since gaining independence in 1991, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Estonia has rapidly become a popular tourist destination. The capital city of Tallin with its aura of a 14th century city, is replete with medieval monuments like the Russian Orthodox Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Estonian Art Museum and the tall tower Kiek-in-de-Kök. The Pirita Beach with its splendid views of the Gulf of Finland is also a favorite with tourists. Other major cities worth visiting on a tour to Estonia are Tartu and Parnu. The city of Parnu is commonly frequented by tourists for its pristine beaches and festivals.

Access: Estonia is connected by direct flights from all major Scandinavian countries, as well as other European countries such as U.K, France, Netherlands, etc. Tourists preferring to enter Estonia by sea can avail of the ferry services from Sweden, Finland, Germany and Russia to Estonia. There is also an international train service between Russia and Estonia.

Climate: The climate in Estonia is marked by cool summers and winters that tend to get quite chilly. The country receives rainfall throughout the year.
