Location: Indian Ocean, group of islands off the coast of Southern Africa, at the northern end of the Mozambique Channel, between Mozambique and Madagascar.

Tourist Attractions: The Comoros consists of four main islands Ngazidja (Grande Comore), Mwali (Moheli), Nzwani (Anjouan), Maore (Mayotte, which is a French dependency), and many smaller islands. The islands have lovely beaches, exotic flora and fauna and volcanic mountains. Some of Comoros’ attractions are the traditional ambience of Nouvelle Mosquée de Vendredi and the Arab Quarter in Moroni, the spectacular view from Mt Ntingui in Anjouan and the beaches of Grand Comore. Water sports, camping and viewing the unique wildlife are essential things to do while on a visit to Comoros.
Access: There are flights to Comoros from Europe, some non-European cities and nearby islands. Tourists can also sail on a ship from Africa to Madagascar. Transport between the islands is by ferry. Taxis on each island provide transport for tourists.
