Tourist Attractions: Chile may be a narrow strip of land, but its full of places to see and things to do. With the Andes Mountains, lakes, beaches and volcanoes, Chile is the place for an adventurous traveler.  Tourists can enjoy the sights of the modern city of Santiago, go skiing at
ski resorts in El Colorado and Faronelles or travel to mysterious Easter Island (Rapa Nui), famous for its giant sculpted stone heads. The Indian rock art at Monumento Arqueológico Valle del Encanto and the wildlife and lake at Parque Nacional Lauca are worth a visit.

Access: There are flights to Santiago from North America, Europe and Australasia. Bus and taxi services use the overland routes from the neighboring countries of Peru, Bolivia and Argentina. A
railway line from Bolivia and ferries from Argentina, over the lakes on the border, are other scenic routes to travel to Chile.
