Tourist Attractions: A part of the Netherlands Antilles, Bonaire is popular with tourists for its great diving spots and its pink flamingoes. Klein Bonaire is a beautiful islet, with white sandy beaches and surrounded by reefs, that is great for picnicking and diving. Tourists flock to the Pekelmeer Sanctuary to have a glimpse of pink flamingoes and enjoy its Pink beach. A trip to the Washington-Slagbaai National Park is a must for nature lovers as it is replete with scrub-covered hills, lakes and over 100 species of birds. The park also contains the Mount Brandaris and some superb hiking trails.

Access: Even though there's no regular ferry service to the island, it is well connected by flights from USA, Netherlands, Aruba, Curaçao, Jamaica and St Maarten.

Climate: Generally hot with temperatures hovering around 30°C constantly, Bonaire receives rainfall only in the months of October and November
