Tourist Attractions: Argentina is one of the popular tourist destinations in South America. A peaceful and tourist friendly country, Argentina’s economic slump also makes it a cheap travel destination. Argentina’s attractions include Cerro Aconcagua, the tallest mountain in South America at 6,960 m. Salinas Chicas, on the Valdes Peninsula, is the lowest point on the continent at 40 m below sea level. Buenos Aires has quaint cobbled streets, sidewalk restaurants and cafés. Tourists can sunbathe at Mar del Plata’s beaches, explore the vast pampas grasslands admire the Iguazu Waterfall and the Perito Moreno Glacier. Other attractions include the Puente del Inca stone bridge, the Patagonian desert and the southern island of Tierra del Fuego. You can also learn to dance the tango or enjoy a game of soccer in Argentina.

Access: Many international carriers fly to Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires. Tourists can arrive by road or boat from Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
