Royal Air
Maroc Airlines, is the national airline of Morocco and based in
Casablanca. It operates scheduled international flights from
Morocco to destinations in Africa, Asia, Europe and North America.
A domestic and charter network (including Hadj flights), are also
operated. Its main base is Mohammed V International Airport (CMN),
Casablanca.
Since 1957, Royal Air MAroc has been handling the air transport of passengers and cargo with a permanent concern for constant improvement of quality, security and comfort.Backed by world-wide presence, covering markets with high development potential, Royal Air Maroc is a front-ranking partner of the largest operators in the field of air transport, tourism and the aviation industry.
The airline was established through the amalgamation of Societe Air Atlas and Air Maroc and known as Compagnie General de Transports Aerien.The current fleet of Royal Air Maroc (including the aircraft assigned to Atlas Blue) consists of 37 units composed mainly of Boeing planes, type B737-400/500, B737-700/800, B747-400, B757-200, B767-300 and A321-200.
Royal Air Maroc has entered into several arrangements with partner airlines in order to better meet the requirements of its customers. Partnership arrangements have been signed with Air France, Iberia, Delta Airlines, Gulf Air and Tunisair, for the joint operation of certain "code share" lines. Theses flights are run by one or other company and marketed simultaneously under code number and Royal Air Maroc flight number as well as the flight number of the partner company.
