an FAA-certified, privately funded airline focused entirely on
providing business-class-only travel at low prices. Although MAXjet
is launching its new airline in the New York - London market, the
company is based in offices just beyond the runways at Washington
Dulles airport. MAXjet has a vision for its growth and for where it

Founded in 2003, certificated in August 2005 and launching its first flight on November 1, MAXjet has worked hard to bring its airline to you, the customer, so that you can travel as you should and pay what you should.
As MAXjet expands its staff, fleet and passenger base, it will put its culture to the test and always ensure that it matches its price and service to the business-class marketplace needs. As a new entrant, MAXjet is a tight, small family striving to evolve the existing order of air travel by offering all-business-class travel for what one would expect to pay in economy.
As MAXjet was taking shape, many people had doubts that an airline could consistently offer a quality business class service between the US and London for a fraction of current rates, or even for a fare one would often pay to sit in economy. While the business class portion of this idea is new, the concept isn't; consider how the new generation airlines all offer excellent transportation for much less than their competitors. Since traditional airlines cannot make ends meet with economy fares alone, they have consistently subsidized these cheap fares with sky-high prices for business class. MAXjet, on the other hand, sells one premium class of service that features restaurant-quality meals, 60" of seat pitch and one simple set of prices throughout the cabin.
MAXjet offers Business Class airport and on-board amenities including airport lounge access, premium complimentary meals and on-demand in-flight entertainment.It is the first low-cost airline to offer transatlantic flights since People Express.
