Czech
Airlines , is the Czech national airline company, based in
Prague. It is currently a member of the SkyTeam alliance.CSA has
its headquarters in the very heart of Europe. From Prague-Ruzyne
Airport it offers connections to the majority of main European
destinations and to transit points in North America, Asia, the
Middle East and North Africa. CSA offers a wide selection of
services at a high international standard.
CZECH AIRLINES was founded as Czechoslovak State Airlines on the
6th of October 1923. The first transport flight from Prague to
Bratislava took place on the 29th of October the same year. On that
trip, pilot Karel Brabenec flew the distance of 321 km with an Aero
A-14 (Brandenburg) bi-plane.
In cooperation with other important world airlines, Czech Airlines
has adjusted our timetable and extended the number of destinations
to which we offer connections through our sales offices. A
completely transformed fleet on regular flights is also a mark of
effectiveness. In the area of charter transport, CSA offers the same
quality of service as on regular flights. All year round, CSA
airplanes fly to the main tourist centres in Europe and back. CSA
Cargo is located directly at Prague-Ruzyne Airport and offers air
transport of goods to almost all destinations world-wide. Airbus
A310-300 airplanes are used for transport outside of the European
continent.
To be able to provide world-wide connections, CSA cooperates with
other airlines on certain routes.CSA has also begun closer
marketing cooperation with certain airlines - where and connection
has been made between the reservation systems of both partners and
there is also the possibility of adding points to the frequent
flyer programmes of either partner.
Czech Airlines has regular flights to following
destinations across the world.
