Air Kazakhstan was formerly the national airline of Kazakhstan. It was in operation from 1997 to 2004 and had flights to a number of destinations around the world.
Air Kazakhstan was declared bankrupt in 2004 and stopped its operations from February 29th of the same year. It was later succeeded by Air Astana as the flag carrier of the country.
